In engines, APL
eliminates dry starts and reduces oil thinning, consumption and
contamination. It improves starts in cold weather. In gearboxes and
differentials, APL
reduces noise and wear. In addition, APL
can reduce or stop leaks in seals or gaskets.
In marine environments, APL
can be used with confidence for the same engine and gearbox
lubrication. An exceptional advantage of APL
is its use in case of water contamination. APL
mixes with water and/or antifreeze and can be used in an emergency
to prevent loss of lubrication from a blown seal or gasket. Of
course, repairs should be made as soon as possible.
APL
is currently used in two- and four-cycle outboard engines, lower
units of stern drives on I/Os— even 130 foot pleasure and fishing
work boats.
A formulation of APL
was used in the world's speed record outboard motor class in
England, where new records were set. This same technology is
available for you in any outboard, I/O or inboard engine.
