is pure oil, not an additive. Vitamin supplements do for the human body what
A P L can do for your car, truck,
ships, construction and agricultural equipment. A mil-spec product like A P L was developed for military aviation
and used until the end of the Viet-Nam War when piston fighters were finally phased out in

Most people haven't ever seen or heard of A P L

WHERE DO THEY GO?"
Are oil stabilizer's additives? No! Surprisingly, an average of 20% of the best quart
of engine oil bought at your favorite auto parts store or bulk dealer, isn't oil. Motor
oils, by design, must contain detergents to clean engine surfaces. This is
good. Additives such as boron, zinc, magnesium, and some light silicon and
moly's used in proper quantities, are used to replace lost lubricating properties in motor
oils taken up by detergents, coloring agents and other chemicals. Unfortunately, these
detergents can in no way emulsify and remove all deposits of carbon, sludge and varnish
through oil filtration.
Additives are cheap, contain impurities and can't be used universally in fuel
conditioning, transmissions, power steering, crankcases, hydraulics, PTO's, gear boxes and
differentials, due to the nasty habit of additives fouling and ruining expensive parts of
your vehicle, when used incorrectly.
We've all heard terrible results from people using additives. This is bad.
We all want longevity out of our vehicles. But what price? With the ever confusing number
of additive products and the misinformation in advertising wars that assault us everyday,
how do you know what products really assist your expensive car or truck to last longer and
keep costs down? Why have a shelf full of different, expensive, site-specific additive
products. Why not just find one product to blend with all the lubrication
needs your company has and reduce costs, too?
The truly ugly. Most additives contain alcohol, mineral spirits,
kerosene, or other petroleum distillate based carrier products that actually thin
your oil, destroying its lubrication effectiveness and viscosity. What else do they
contain? Mostly heavy silicon or phosphorus and contain combinations of paraffin based
waxes, graphite, TPFE's, molybdenum, or sulfur compounds that make sulfuric acid and other
metals, even lead! And you want to recycle this stuff?
After you change your oil, where does it go? Where does unneeded
and often dangerous by-products and compounds end up after the combustion and lubricating
cycles? In the incinerators to be burned or in a landfill after filtration and separation
at the recycling plant. This increases costs of our recycled products tremendously and
adds to the inevitable damage to our environment. We must act more rationally and
responsibly, think with our minds as well as our pocketbooks.
